Privacy Policy

• Camera frames are read on your device in real time. Images are never saved or uploaded.
• Your solves, practice log, streaks and settings stay on your device. There is no account and no sign-up.
• Crash reports go to Sentry so we can fix bugs. They never contain camera images.
• We use no third-party analytics SDK.
• Ads appear only when you choose "Watch an ad" to unlock one Solve all. Lifetime users see no ads.
• Payments are handled by Apple or Google; RevenueCat helps us restore your purchase.

MintSoft is the controller responsible for the processing described in this policy. You can reach us at the email address in the Contact section. This website (cubeturn.mint-soft.com) uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads. Your light or dark theme choice is saved only in your browser. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks.

• On your device only: the 54 sticker colors of each scan, solves and solve progress, the practice log, streaks, reminder times and settings.
• Sent to service providers: crash and error diagnostics (Sentry), ad requests and the advertising identifier when you choose to watch an ad (Google AdMob), and purchase information (Apple, Google and RevenueCat).
• Sent to us only if you contact us: your message and the email address or details you include.

We do not collect your name, account details, contacts or precise location.

CubeTurn uses the camera to read the colors of your cube's stickers. Frames are analyzed on your device in real time and are discarded right away — images are never saved to your device or uploaded. Only the 54 sticker colors and your solve progress are stored locally. Camera permission is optional: you can paint colors by hand instead, and if you deny access the app explains how to turn it on in your device's Settings.

All solves, the practice log, streaks and settings are stored only on your device. There is no account and nothing to sign up for, so we cannot see or restore this data. To delete it, use Settings → Clear App Data in the app, or uninstall the app. Export Data creates a backup file only when you tap it, and you decide where it goes; Import Data reads a backup you provide.

To find and fix bugs, the app sends crash and error diagnostics to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.). A report can include a stack trace, your device model, operating system and app version, and limited performance data. Reports never include camera images or your solves. Sentry keeps reports for up to 90 days.

CubeTurn shows only Google AdMob rewarded ads, and only when you choose "Watch an ad" to unlock one Solve all. There are no banner or pop-up ads, and Lifetime users see no ads at all. When an ad is requested, Google may process your device's advertising identifier (on Android, the AD_ID permission), IP address and device information to serve and measure the ad. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form (UMP) asks for your choices first, and you can change them anytime in Settings → Ad Privacy Options. On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt asks for permission before ads can use your device's identifier. Lifetime is a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never receive your card or bank details. RevenueCat, Inc. receives the product ID, the transaction status and an anonymous app user ID so that your purchase can be verified and restored. This ID is not linked to your name or email.

If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device at the time you choose. We do not run a push notification server and do not receive your reminder settings. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your device's Settings.

When you open View solves on a computer, your phone runs a temporary local server that can be reached only from devices on the same Wi-Fi network, and only after the one-time code is entered. The connection is encrypted. The viewer turns off after a period of inactivity or when you leave the app. Nothing is sent to our servers.

• Share and save: images or text are shared only when you tap share or save, using your system's share sheet or, with your permission, your photo library.
• Contact Us: when our feedback service is available, your message and the details you include are sent to MintSoft's feedback inbox; otherwise your email app opens.
• App updates and reviews: on Android, Google Play's in-app update and in-app review features may be shown; on iOS, Apple's review prompt. These are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract to provide the app and your purchases; our legitimate interests in keeping the app stable and secure (crash reports) and answering your messages; and your consent for personalized ads and tracking where required. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Options or your device settings, without affecting earlier processing.

We share data only with these providers, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies:

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ads you choose to watch.

Data on your device stays until you clear it or uninstall the app. Backup files you export stay wherever you saved them. Crash reports are kept by Sentry for up to 90 days. Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as long as needed to provide and restore your purchase and to meet legal obligations. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to answer you.

Data is sent to service providers over encrypted connections, and the local web viewer uses an encrypted connection protected by a one-time code. Your on-device data is protected by your device's own security. No method is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we handle to a minimum.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent (GDPR in the EEA and UK). California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights (CCPA/CPRA). In Korea, you may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Because most data stays on your device, you can delete it yourself at any time. For anything else, email us and we will respond within the time required by law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

CubeTurn is made for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may update this policy when the app or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or on this website.
